  1. Thank you. I almost thought you weren’t going to post this. A-S-S-U-M-E, I suppose.

  2. I’m still debating whether to do a final Keeper’s Diary.

  3. I’d say you went over most of it in this one, if you want my opinion. What else could you say that you didn’t say here, aside from a couple of comments along the lines of “I cannot believe they actually sent the Professor to the Moon without the Space Mead”. Aside from those moments, I don’t think there’s much else to say.

To keep your fans happy, though, I’d consider it if there’s going to be a long stretch with nothing new.

  4. Thanks, it was really nice to get everyone’s thoughts and opinions on all the things. If you feel that you have something more to add then make the keeper’s diary, but don’t make it just because you feel like you have to.

  5. What a great game! I loved how they were so afraid of the Yithians, a creature they had no insight on, but they were totally cool with contacting, repeatily, something called a Space Vampire!!!

Please say you are going to start a new campaign!!

  6. I thought it was very amusing too how scared they seemed to be regarding the Yithians. I was really looking forward to a Yithian suddenly appearing (holographically) and watching the characters react.

We’re switching game systems for a short pulp adventure, then I hope to be back to Call of Cthulhu, probably with some house rules.

  7. Hiya –

Just finished listening to DotB.. a bit of an anticlimax, but a solid, enjoyable ride throughout.

I noticed during the sessions that you were a bit harsh in terms of sanity loss for seeing monsters. It’s your game, and obviously you can do what you wish. Technically, however, once an investigator has CUMULATIVELY lost as much sanity as the maximum sanity loss for each monster, he/she loses no more sanity when seeing the creature. This would certainly have been the case in the constant encounters with the star vampire.

Once again, my compliments to everyone involved. Very enjoyable.

  8. Hi David, you’re absolutely right that’s what the rules say, and I must confess that early on, I had completely forgotten it. I did later recall the rule, but given the way that the players were using the star vampire, I decided to “let” them keep experiencing the SAN loss.
