A new campaign begins! The dramatis personae:

Carol – Bane Vanlandingham, a bored dilettante
Harold – Dr. Rudolph Webber, doctor of psychology at Miskatonic University
John – “Handsome” Hank Harrison, a former boxer now on the fringes of the law.
KJ – Flash Granger, reporter for the Chappaqua Tattler
Mike – Leon Thomas, formerly of the NYPD Homicide Detail

  2. I liked the abreviated from of character generation. I also like how you have the list of players and their characters in this thread. Great idea. It’s nice to be able to come back and see this list if needed.

    Also, nice mention of the GG and Jeff on Yog Radio #38. I look forward to getting the interview with Jeff in my iTunes download.

  3. The skill allocation concept is something that I have heard Sandy Petersen use at conventions. I don’t know if he “invented” it or not.

    The stat allocation is something I wanted to try because my players are more of the type to come up with the character type first, rather than roll up stats and pick a type based on the stats. I was debating the idea of using 16/15/14/13/12/11/10/9, but I figured that was unbelievable. The adjustments are because of the differences in the roll types (3D6/3D6+3/2D6+6).
